I've been a musician most of my life, but in the last 10 years or so have specialized in Old Time Mandolin playing. I play fiddle tunes on the mandolin. I have a good ear, and also can read notation. I'm taking lessons on the guitar, and do country songs and eclectic songs. I host a monthly Old Time Instrumental Jam session at a coffee house in Portland. I play mandolin at the Jam.
What I am looking for
I would love to meet a man who plays Old Time music, is familiar with the tunes, and loves this music as much as I do. I'd like to find someone who plays backup flatpick guitar, but doing some lead is also fine. I just want us to sound good.
